Le pr\u00e9sident turc Recep Tayyip Erdogan a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 aujourd\u2019hui, samedi, que son pays proc\u00e9derait \u00e0 une \u00e9valuation du processus de l’adh\u00e9sion \u00e0 l’Union europ\u00e9enne et pourrait abandonner ses efforts dans ce sens \u00ab si n\u00e9cessaire \u00bb, selon l’agence de presse du monde arabe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avant de se rendre \u00e0 New York pour assister aux r\u00e9unions de l’Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Nations Unies, le pr\u00e9sident turc a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 au cours d\u2019une conf\u00e9rence : \u00ab Nous proc\u00e9derons \u00e0 notre \u00e9valuation des d\u00e9veloppements et nous pouvons abandonner (le projet d’adh\u00e9sion) si n\u00e9cessaire \u00bb, selon le d\u00e9partement de communication de la pr\u00e9sidence turque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evoquant un rapport du Parlement europ\u00e9en qui critique le recul de la d\u00e9mocratie et la situation des droits de l\u2019homme en Turquie, Erdogan a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab L\u2019Union europ\u00e9enne cherche \u00e0 se s\u00e9parer de la Turquie. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concernant l\u2019adh\u00e9sion de la Su\u00e8de \u00e0 l\u2019OTAN, le pr\u00e9sident turc a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab La Su\u00e8de doit avant tout remplir ses obligations. Il ne suffit pas de formuler une loi, il faut la mettre en \u0153uvre \u00bb, en r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la loi antiterroriste r\u00e9cemment adopt\u00e9e par la Su\u00e8de.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u00ab Envoyer des terroristes aux manifestations sous la protection de la police signifie que la Su\u00e8de ne fait pas son devoir \u00bb, a-t-il ajout\u00e9, faisant vraisemblablement allusion aux manifestations des partisans du Parti des travailleurs du Kurdistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u00ab Il n’est pas possible de dire oui ou non sans que le Parlement turc ne le d\u00e9cide \u00bb, a affirm\u00e9 le pr\u00e9disent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au mois de juillet, la Su\u00e8de a annonc\u00e9 avoir sign\u00e9 un accord avec la Turquie concernant son adh\u00e9sion \u00e0 l’OTAN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un communiqu\u00e9 de l’OTAN indique que la Turquie soumettra au Parlement le protocole d’adh\u00e9sion de la Su\u00e8de et que le pouvoir ex\u00e9cutif travaillera en \u00e9troite collaboration avec le Parlement afin de le ratifier.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
