A l\u2019issue de l’\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle autrichienne du 9 octobre 2022, le pr\u00e9sident \u00e9cologiste sortant Alexander Van der Bellen, a remport\u00e9 un deuxi\u00e8me mandat pr\u00e9sidentiel de 6 ans avec environ 60% des voix, apr\u00e8s une bataille \u00e9lectorale dans laquelle 7 candidats se sont affront\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bien que le pr\u00e9sident autrichien ait une marge de man\u0153uvre bien d\u00e9termin\u00e9e, il peut dans certains cas exercer des pouvoirs \u00e9tendus pour superviser les p\u00e9riodes de transition ou de troubles. Il est \u00e9galement le commandant en chef des forces arm\u00e9es et peut r\u00e9voquer le gouvernement ou le chancelier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ennemi de l’extr\u00e9misme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette seconde victoire cons\u00e9cutive d\u2019Alexander Van der Bellen, connu pour son hostilit\u00e9 envers les organisations extr\u00e9mistes, a port\u00e9 un coup dur \u00e0 la Confr\u00e9rie des Fr\u00e8res musulmans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, l’Autriche a lanc\u00e9 une campagne intense contre l’extr\u00e9misme, notamment en interdisant les symboles des Fr\u00e8res musulmans et en cr\u00e9ant le Centre de documentation de l’islam politique, afin d’analyser, de surveiller et de contr\u00f4ler ses activit\u00e9s sur le territoire autrichien, et d\u2019ouvrir des enqu\u00eates judiciaires sur les activit\u00e9s du groupe et ses r\u00e9seaux de financement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y a environ 10 mois, plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment en d\u00e9cembre 2021, le chancelier Karl Nehammer a pr\u00eat\u00e9 serment en tant que chancelier et nouveau Premier ministre du pays, devant Alexander van der Bellen, pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique d’Autriche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karl Nehammer, connu pour sa fermet\u00e9 et sa rigueur, s\u2019emploie assid\u00fbment \u00e0 d\u00e9raciner les mouvements extr\u00e9mistes de son pays. En novembre 2020, il a men\u00e9 le plus grand raid de l’histoire du pays contre plus de 60 sites li\u00e9s \u00e0 la Confr\u00e9rie des Fr\u00e8res musulmans et au Hamas dans quatre r\u00e9gions diff\u00e9rentes :  la Styrie, la Carinthie, la Basse-Autriche et Vienne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 l’\u00e9poque, Nehammer avait d\u00e9clar\u00e9 lors d’une session parlementaire que les raids visaient \u00e0 “couper les racines de l’islam politique”. “Nous travaillons de toutes nos forces contre ces organisations criminelles, extr\u00e9mistes et inhumaines”, a-t-il assur\u00e9, soulignant que les raids avaient port\u00e9 un coup dur aux Fr\u00e8res musulmans et au Hamas. “Le Hamas r\u00e9pand le sang et le terrorisme et les Fr\u00e8res musulmans le financent”, a-t-il soulign\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lutte contre l’islam politique<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En octobre 2020, l’Autriche a accueilli le Forum de Vienne sur la lutte contre l’islam politique, destin\u00e9 \u00e0 des \u00e9changes internationaux sur les id\u00e9ologies, les r\u00e9seaux, les acteurs et les activit\u00e9s de l’islam politique en Europe, ainsi que sur la mani\u00e8re de les combattre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
