Parti d’Afghanistan il y a un an, Ajmal Rahmani pensait avoir trouv\u00e9 refuge en Ukraine avant de devoir fuir la guerre \u00e0 nouveau, cette fois vers la Pologne pour \u00e9chapper aux bombardements russes en compagnie de centaines de milliers d’autres r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, a rapport\u00e9 le quotidien Asharq al-Awsat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cet Afghan d’une quarantaine d’ann\u00e9es raconte : “J’ai fui une guerre et maintenant une autre guerre a \u00e9clat\u00e9. Je n’ai vraiment pas de chance.” Il vient d’arriver en Pologne avec son \u00e9pouse Mina, son fils Omar, 11 ans et sa fille Marwa, 7 ans .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 leur arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re polonaise, ils ont attendu avec d’autres r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s l’arriv\u00e9e du bus qui les conduiraient \u00e0 un centre d’accueil situ\u00e9 dans la ville voisine de Przemy\u015bl, selon l’AFP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outre les Ukrainiens, des centaines de personnes d’autres nationalit\u00e9s sont pr\u00e9sents parmi les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, dont des Afghans, des Congolais, des Indiens, des \u00c9quatoriens et des N\u00e9palais. La plupart d’entre eux sont des \u00e9tudiants ou des travailleurs r\u00e9sidents en Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Pendant dix ans, j’ai travaill\u00e9 pour l’OTAN \u00e0 l’a\u00e9roport international de Kaboul”, raconte Rahmani, qui vient de la capitale afghane. Il a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de quitter son pays quatre mois apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9part des Am\u00e9ricains car il se sentait menac\u00e9. “J’ai re\u00e7u des menaces de mort contre mes enfants”, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9. “J’en ai parl\u00e9 sur mon lieu de travail mais personne ne voulait m’\u00e9couter, m’aider ou me donner un visa.” Il s’est finalement r\u00e9fugi\u00e9 en Ukraine, le seul pays qui a accept\u00e9 de l’accueillir, et s’est install\u00e9 dans la ville portuaire d’Odessa sur la mer Noire. “J’avais une belle vie en Afghanistan, j’\u00e9tais propri\u00e9taire d’une maison et d’une voiture et j’avais un bon salaire. J’ai tout vendu, j’ai tout perdu. J’ai pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 partir avec mes enfants, pour le bien de ma famille, pour leur \u00e9ducation”, raconte-il.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y a quatre jours, lorsque la Russie a attaqu\u00e9 l’Ukraine, il a d\u00fb tout abandonner une nouvelle fois. Avec sa famille, il a parcouru 1 110 kilom\u00e8tres entre Odessa et la fronti\u00e8re polonaise. Ils ont du faire les 30 derniers kilom\u00e8tres \u00e0 pied car la route \u00e9tait encombr\u00e9e de voitures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Quand nous sommes arriv\u00e9s, il faisait tr\u00e8s froid et j’ai pris une couverture pour ma fille, mais elle est tomb\u00e9e malade au bout de quelques minutes et sa m\u00e8re s’est mise \u00e0 pleurer”, poursuit-t-il. “Une ambulance est arriv\u00e9e et la police des fronti\u00e8res ukrainiennes a facilit\u00e9 le passage de toute la famille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Nous avons eu de la chance, il y avait plus de 50 000 personnes \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re”, a-t-il ajout\u00e9. “Tout le monde attendait son tour avec enfants et bagages. Quant \u00e0 nous, nous sommes pass\u00e9 devant eux.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les gardes-fronti\u00e8res polonais ont annonc\u00e9 dimanche apr\u00e8s-midi que pr\u00e8s de 213 000 Ukrainiens \u00e9taient entr\u00e9s en Pologne depuis le d\u00e9but de l’invasion russe de l’Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comme toute personne sans visa polonais, Ajmal Rahmani et sa famille ont 15 jours pour d\u00e9poser une demande officielle de r\u00e9gularisation de leur statut, a indiqu\u00e9 Thomas Peterzak, avocat de l’ONG polonaise “Okalini” qui s’occupe des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s. “Ce d\u00e9lai est d\u00e9sormais consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme irr\u00e9aliste compte tenu du nombre croissant de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s”, a-t-il ajout\u00e9. “La Pologne devra modifier rapidement sa loi dans ce domaine.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rahmani ne cache pas ses inqui\u00e9tudes concernant son avenir, mais les premi\u00e8res heures en Pologne ont \u00e9t\u00e9 encourageantes. Il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : “Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s bien re\u00e7us, les gens sont gentils et souriants.
